I went for the first time 2 weekends ago with El Josey Wales and his clan for a Saturday luncheon. The draft beer was very good, but my damn mug kept drowning me. It was literally dripping all over me. It wasn't just the first one either. It was the second, third, and fourth ones.

Don't they advertise that they have "the coldest frozen beer mugs in the world" or something like that?

I am sure they do. They have a thermometer on several walls showing the temperature of their beers. It hovered around 25 degrees on our visit.

Frick twin leaks. Long waits. Average food. Average girls at best.

Walk Ons. IMO

I haven't found that any of the food is great as of yet.

If I had to choose btw the 2 , I'd go with Hooters for food and TP for talent.

re: food at twin peaks

I've been about 6 times, a customer loves the place, and I have tried something different each time. So far I have to say the burgers and the Cobb salad are the only winners, both hard to screw up.

The big appetizer sampler was pretty bad, the Buffalo tenders were just nasty, but it's all just heat and serve so my low expectations were exceeded.

The Phiily Cheesesteak was skimped on the meat side and the bread was very stale and dry. But the filling was delicious, just not enough to overcome the bread issue.

The grilled chicken Cobb Salad was great, lots of chicken and cheese.

Just don't expect gourmet treats, get a burger, a cold beer and stare.

I've never been to TP's...I've been taking advantage of the relaxed atmosphere at Hooters and chowing down on their delicious blackened fish sandwich, potato salad, baked beans & wings.

I'm an experienced & renowned horn dog, and my advice to you when going out to eat supposedly below average food at TP's and to drink cold beer is to never look the worker chicks in the eye. Eye contact will make them feel equal to you. Some dudes stare at the breasts which is cool, but I stare at their vagina region to make them feel as uncomfortable & self conscious as possible.

not gonna lie but walkons food has gotten better as of late. i know its the cool thing to bash them on here but the food has gotten better.

i would pick walkons over twin peaks any day of the week. lets compare

good looking college girls serving food/drinks>trashy skanks from denham springs, central, walker, etc
I would say the food cancels each other out.
Walkons is a much better place to watch a game. Better layout and more spatious.
Better beer selection at walkons although thats not saying much.
and the clientele at walkons is 10x better then the clientele at TP. this isnt even up for discussion.

went to twin peaks and got the burger and ordered no tomatoes. Had tomatoes on the bottom of the burger which is no big deal but when i went to take them off my bun had acquired a puddle of grease in the middle of it . Would choose walk ons everyday of the week over twin peaks

Agreed; I'm not a huge fan of Walk On's but the food has definitely improved. I went with my SO's mom and sister 2 months ago (the last time I went to Walk On's) and thought the food was better than it used to be.

I've never been to TP but I always get the vibe that the girls working there look a lot skankier/sluttier than Hooter's girls. I'm FB friends with a girl who started to work there and eesh...those girls look like they have STD's .

A big chunk of them are or were Hooter's girls...fwiw.
