I have an iphone 4 since release date almost 2 yrs ago and have never jailbroken. I think I want to jail break it because I am bored with the iphone.
So do I just d/l this and then pretty self-explanatory from there?

Had no problems this morning.. A lot of the apps in cydia you have to purchase tho. Isn't there another one with free apps?

In cysia, you need other sources for hacked versions of cysia tweaks

It was overloaded last night
I just put quasar on my iPad

I got xbackup to work on my iPhone but it tries to download all of the packages and doesn't tell you which ones failed
I guess I'll figure them out one by one

I jailbroke my iPad yesterday. When I couldn't download something i just had to try again. Eventually it would download.

I'm about to update to iOS 5.1.1, and I was wondering if anybody had some good Winterboard themes that are compatible? I'm sure the current theme that I have won't be, plus I'm ready for something different.

I'm using revi-krs and it's working ok so far. A couple f the icons are messed up, but I figure they will be fixed or whatever soon.
As far as the jailbreak, it was definitely a little buggy and I had to download a cracked version of pkgbackup even though I paid for it, I guess because bigboss repo was down. Once I got that figured out, everything is working great.
I also tried playing around with the Timeless theme but I could not get any of it to work right.

ETA: none of the cydia apps that I had before are downloading!
