i mean football is a different animal. lsu would not have been ranked lower than sc by that much considering they had a better record going into the weekend.

USAToday/ESPN has USC @ 2, LSU @ 5, too.

Makes NO sense. We even have more wins total, never mind the weekend.
Look @ who actually votes....pretty much small schools. I would like to know for whom Tim Corbin (Vandy) & Rick Jones v(Tu) voted.[we had 2 first place votes].

two sec teams ranked ahead of us...we're the conference champs and beat both 2 out of 3 at their place. Baseball polls always make perfect sense.

College baseball polls are almost always squirrelly. The sport at this level just doesn't get the respect despite the fact that more and more college players enter the bigs.

As long as we get a national seed, who cares? Tigers just have to keep winning!!

I love how they always leak out their poll without updating their website, so that we always have to link to some random news story to figure out what the rankings are. Freaking amateurs.

I laugh at these rankings. Keep the Tigers hungry and fighting for respect. That is the way it should be for now.

We have a postseason birth sewed up. A regional host site is a given. National seed remains. Keep the focus on the SEC tourney. Keep the drive alive. Remember what happened last year when the Tigers were snubbed. Keep Swinging !!

When the Tigers win Omaha, everyone will Have to make us #1. I like our team being disrespected for now. It will all come out in the wash in a few weeks. :)

Amen Doc. I like how coach Mainieri has managed the team this season. We still have a lot to play for.
