he def improved last year from his first 3 because he was given more minutes and overall more chances to perform. I'd like to see more consistency from him. He went off in a few games last year, but there were also games where he was just aweful. He still has to become a starter before we talk allstars, bro. His offensive game is stronger than his d, but like you said, he needs to gain some muscle weight. However, the dude is 26 now, so if he's gonna make a move, he better get rolling.

Really the only thing that changed for Smith this year was his shooting. He was about 8% higher than his career average. Looking at per 36 or Advanced stats, every other number was right around his previous output.

Shooting Stats for his career-

FG% TS% eFG%

45 49 46
43 49 46
44 49 44
52 54 52

No idea if he took different shots than before or he just worked on his stroke. Hopefully he keeps it up. Like you said, he's got a long way to go before becoming an All-Star
