I'd like to see LSU jump back into these kick off classics. They're great for recruiting and just exposure for the program. And I think win or lose, they just get the team better prepared for the season. Our team was READY for Oregon, our D in particular......

TCU at home next year.
ASU in 15' and 16'
NC state in 17' and 20'.
Oklahoma in 18' and 19'.

other then that its slim pickens........

agree with you! You can't tell me a team is more focused in offseason when playing an Oregon vs an App. St.

That said, it seems hard to organize, and we only had 6 homes games. Most teams don't want to give up a home game.

As it looks now we don't have a BCS conference OOC opponent for 2014. I'd like to see us seek out a BIG DOG.

Bama had VT two years ago, getting Michigan this year, and about to lock up WVU in 2013.

I'd like to see us get tOSU, USC, Miami, FSU, Texas, or someone like that. Something to really fire folks up. A lot like LSU vs Oregon did this past year.......

We scheduled Carolina and Oregon within a year of the game. Patience.

I think we are playing Tulane on the road, so I doubt we will travel again that season.

Can't be the best, if you don't play the best. I like it

However, you can argue that Bama went the easy route and they got the crystal ball...so, what really is the right answer?

It's nice to have one every once in awhile, but I'd hate to play a top 5 team OOC every year.

We've been in one the past 2 seasons. That north Carolina game just lost some appeal because of their troubles. That was a top 10 team prior to that.

I'm not in favor if it means we get mostly lousy upper deck seats and then only have 6 so-so home games...really screws the season ticket holders !

A playoff, it leaves room for losses

Don't know how reliable this source is, but it says @TCU in 2014. I think I remember hearing it will be played at Jerry's World

Who cares if we play nobody OOC. FSU is ranked 8th in ESPN's preseason little sham of a ranking system and their schedule consists of like three teams that may be ranked. None higher than 15 I believe. Yet, their they are just vying for a NC no matter how terrible that schedule is. Their weak schedule is a benefit, not a detriment. Don't let ESPN fool you. They tout this OOC bullshite but they are the first to reward a team for their shite schedule with a high ranking.

If it happened & was ANYTHING close to the '79 game, bring hearing protection or your ears will ring for weeks.

Would be great if true--the JW crowd would be at least 60% Tiger fans. But TCU just expanded Amon Carter Stadium, so my guess is the game will be there.

Makes my drive easier if so.

I just did a quick search, and didn't see anything really official. Saw them talking on hogville about LSU-TCU at JW, but yea, lets take that with a grain of salt. I guess either way its good for LSU to play up in the DFW metroplex. That would be 2 games in TX that year. If it is in Fort Worth, my uncle lives in Saginaw(hell if i know how far that is, but it is Tarrant county I believe) maybe I will have to pay him a visit.
