My take on Drew deal.

I think Mr. Benson is a businessman first. Signing Drew to anything other than the franchise tag would be bad business in the eyes of Benson. Also with all the other issues with the team,Coach and players suspensions,Benson does not want to spend the money on a year that we could possibly not make the playoffs.(I know,crazy talk.)I think Drew should have reworked his contract the year after we won the Superbowl. How crazy does this sound? What say you.

So how much do you think he will sign for this year. Doesn't sound like ether side wants to move on the contract. And yes,mildly retarded has been used in the past.

I never thought about this until yesterday, but if 95% of the NFL had a 6 yr 60 mil contract and accomplished why DB did in his first 4 years, they would have sat out until they got a big deal. DB finished out his contract as it was originally negotiated. That says something about the man compared to the rest of the NFL players we have today.
