The writer uses words like 'directive' and 'notwithstanding' when right before he had been using quotes, deceiving the reader into thinking that Manny did indeed said that. Like I said, very poorly written article. Took me a couple of readings to see that.
So Manny did not say that.
So Manny did not say that.

The quote is the actual bible quote not a Pacquiao quote. The writer makes it appear as Pacquio said it.

that's the culture in southeast asia.

Exactly, like I said, it took me a couple times to see that. Even found an article where the writer has come out and said that Manny did not say that.
Very deceiving article. The writer got his 15 minutes of fame though.

You did not read, listen, or do not comprehend at all only to fit what you want to think.
You are worse than the author of linked article.

Yea no shite. Pretty much everyone who read that article believed that Manny said that because of the way he wrote that. He should not have included that into his article, at all..

quote:
As we see, nowhere in my supposition and integration of my interview with Pacquiao did I mention that Pacquiao recited this Leviticus 20:13 nor did I imply that Pacquiao had quoted such. I have simply reminded in my column how God made it clear in the Old Testament time that such practice of same-sex marriage is detestable and strictly forbidden, in as much as God wants to encourage his people practices that lead to health and happiness and fullness of life. As my style of literary writing suggests in almost all of my columns, the critical thoughts I tied up in the structure of thoughts I wanted to convey pertinent to this issue at hand do not translate Pacquiao’s point of view, however conservative I am in my exposition.
"well like me Manny is against gay marriage....kinda. So I bet like me also believes they should be rounded up and exterminated. frick it I'm quoting him"

If the OP refuses to change the title then this thread should be whacked immediately

He basically admits he is a terrible writer there. By him including his thoughts by not saying they are his thoughts and then having Manny's name start off his thoughts, he purposely deceived everyone.
That or like I said, he is just a terrible writer that can't separate his thoughts from Manny's quotes.
