Yep, the Central sucks. They really need to get rid of divisions and just take the top 5 teams.

Indians could maybe still get in.
Bottom line, if you win your division, but 5 teams still have a better record than you, then you don't have any business competing in the postseason just because you got to play Kansas City and Minnesota 18 times each.

The Blue Jays are actually one of the more well-run organizations in baseball and they haven't made the postseason since 1993. Put them in any other division and they probably would have made the playoffs five or six times over that timespan.

We were going by run differential. And the AL East teams have to play each other 16 or 17 times a year.
