Now he is put off because the Saints haven't fully met his demands and have only offered him the #1 contract in the NFL?
I don't buy it. This is nothing more than a tactic to get more money. Fans shouldn't be upset that the Saints are not simply giving in to his demands. In fact, they should be very happy about it.
Unfortunately, there are tons of fans on the radio and on here who don't even consider the salary cap when offering an opinion that the Saints should simply meet his demands.

Drew outplayed his 6 yr contract BIG TIME and did not bitch one time to rework his deal! He was making mid of the pack $ for QBs even though he was an ELITE QB.

He went public, now the Saints will go public. The saints will release details of the proposed deal and Drew will look really bad for turning down >60M guaranteed when most fans don't make 0.2% of this money in a really bad economy.

I'm not so sure. Even if this thing got uglier before it got done, Once 9 is on the field shredding bitches and getting wins, no one will give a good days frick about the way the contract negotiations went.

He was offered contract extensions but turned them down...evidently because he wants a billion dollars or something like that.
