COUNT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I mean, the Celtics are doing everything they need to do early on.
Rondo is controlling the ball and being aggressive. He's not passing to Brandon Bass anymore. He's going hard to the rim and finishing through and around contact.
They aren't running their offense as much through Pierce. However, he is getting the ball in transition and in good spots on the floor in the half-court, and he is attacking the rim off of his catches. He needs to shoot 12 free throws tonight.
Garnett got some deep touches before he got taken off of the floor a couple minutes earlier than he normally does as a result of those fouls. Not that big of a deal though.
They are forcing some turnovers and getting good opportunities in transition, too.
To be honest, Philadelphia is just shooting a high percentage of their shots right now. Almost 62% to be exact. Iguodala's contested three in the corner, Williams' three just now, a few fadeaways. If you're Boston, you have to assume that will go down. As of now, Boston is getting more opportunities at the rim, while Philly is shooting more jump shots.
However, Philadelphia has been playing with some good energy and will thrive off of the crowd in the 2nd half. I think Boston has to feel good about that 1st quarter still, though. This game should be tight in the 4th quarter, just like the first two.

Pierce starts screaming as soon as he gets the ball and the refs cant help but to call a foul
Boston has been taking the ball hard to the hole much more than Philly so far. Don't even start with the ref crap.

Garnett, Rondo, and Pierce are dominating.

They are BEHIND. You may need to rethink this.

Boston is going to win this game.
Garnett getting deep touches. Rondo is being aggressive, while still getting the ball to Pierce and Garnett at good spots on the floor. Pierce is playing strong, as well.
Philadelphia is shooting a lot of jump shots, and they are shooting an uncharacteristically high percentage.

Yes, despite the fact that they were both bullshite calls.

He had a slow first few possessions, but he's been great ever since.

Offense will come and go in this series. He needs to fix it at the defensive end. That's what he's been stressing in timeouts, as you can hear when he is mic'd up during timeouts.

I always enjoy watching the bandwagon opposing fans that sit courtside at the away games. Guy at the bottom left of the court with green jersey and green shirt to his right.
Always come off as douche bags

Fair enough.
Boston extending their lead with Rondo on the bench. Really playing well tonight.

The better team came to play tonight.
Rondo getting a lot of rest. I'd get him back on the court here soon, though.
ETA: 50,000

This is the prime example of a team living and dying by the jump shot. Philly hit them in the 1st, but went cold in the 2nd and fell behind.
Boston is relying a bit too much on jump shots these last few minutes. Hopefully that doesn't carry over into the 2nd half.

Is it just me or does KG say every curse word in the book after he makes a shot and goes back up court?
*Take a shot everytime Weber mentions this may be the last year KG, Pierce, and Allen play together.

Rondo is by far the craftiest guard in the league.

This is such a weird halftime show
Ernie's sitting there dancing to that beat music, and Charles goes, "Ernie, just stop it."
