What I don't get about Keith is that he bitches about Greenhorns, but he hires them two at a time. Why not hire someone with experience, especially after the number of boats fishing went down? That had to lead to more available deckhands.

Think the dude had a panic attack. He WAS having Carpopedal spasms. Which can happen during hyperventilating and panic attacks. Or he was seasick and dehydrated. But they would have had footage of him puking edited in.
He tried to quit once had a neck injury I think. He described a radiculopathy. Then he freaked the frick out.
And yes Keith is a tool. Last year shoving that camera guy was it. He would have got about 6 nut shots while he was trying to shove me down that hallway.

So greenhorn Chris didn't make it? Next week the Bering Sea leaves her mark. 2 hour episode I think.

i'm sure he makes it. the episode is probably just longer because its the end of the first crab season so they have to show all the boats and their last little bit. and see how much Jake Harris has to spend on meth etc.

I can't wait to see the crew of the Ramblin' Rose collect their 10 dollar checks for the season. Elliot is an a-hole and he can't catch crab for shite. I hope they use for him bait next season.

yeah he is terrible. last season his whole crew was going to quit then when they got their checks they all agreed to come back for opies like idiots.
the captains being able to hear the guys on deck talking low under their breath, is that just from the intercom or is discovery letting the captains listen to the guys' mics? Keith and Ewwiot both seem to hear every little whisper on deck.

I always assumed it was the intercom, but what you said makes a lot more sense. I've always wondered why you would call your captain an a-hole if you know that he can here you. Even if he's a punk like Elliot, he still signs your check.
