Yeah I'm gonna have to say that half if not most the people here either have never fished the BSL/Hancock Co. area or at least don't know the good spots. Granted its no Louisiana, there is still some good fishing to be had.
Now where exactly will you be fishing? Beachfront, bay, bayou?

get you a few bags of Gulp swimming mullet in chartreuse and pink colors. fish them on the bottom with a light jig head. That combo has caught many a flounder in Bay St. Louis. Go fish the beaches or the rocks by St Stanislaus if they arent biting at your dock.

I have a house on the other side of the bay in pass christian. It will all depend on the wind direction for the bay fishing. I have to say use dead shrimp on the bottom. Its easy and effective. Two weeks ago I caught two reds and a fews specks (small) from my pier in the afternoon. We have an oysterbed infront of our house facing the bay (will hold a few fish when the tide is falling) However, If you can get a kayak or boat, the bridges with dead shrimp can hook some big black drum and a rare red. We clean up in may at cat island and the old brigde reef about three miles past the bridge. No its not the best fishing but, it has its highlights.
