Update: MRI atleast had some damage. Girardi said that the MRI showed "cause for concern". I would add Soriano ASAP.

I just want to trade all of my closers and be done with the headache.

I understand. I started the year with Street and Axford. Street is hurt and Axford gets shelled when he throws a strike (which doesn't happen all the time).

any more recent updates on robertson and potential time missed?

Supposedly Robertson has just said that he has been sore the last few days, and he is not expecting it to be major. He didn't necessarily rule out a DL stint, but said that he didn't want to keep pitching and further damage. FWIW Yahoo is saying that Soriano is the person to own in the Yankees' pen right now. I will update if I see anything else.

Good thing I have both of them on my roster. :coco2:

Just updated other post. Yeah. I have Street, Axford, Soriano, and Marshall, so I can't afford to own 5 closers with only two spots to start.

I can't imagine Marshall keeping that job for much longer. But it is Dusty Baker we're talking about. No telling what he's going to do as far as pitchers are concerned.

It's Dusty Baker, we can pretty much count on him to be stubborn and do the wrong thing.

Well the Yanks just recalled Cody Eppley so looks like Robertson is headed down.

whew and i almost canned soriano a few days ago because its hard holding on to 2 closers from the same team.

its official. hes on the DL.
im dropping him flat out.
this is a good time for soriano to outright lock down the spot.

Do y'all think he's worth hanging onto in a keeper league? I also have Papelbon, Casey Janssen, Dale Thayer, and I have Soriano. Robertson is on my bench because my two DL spots are occupied by Michael Morse and Brett Gardner.

Reminds me a lot of Kimbrel. If I had a DL spot id stash him I guess

ATL Thread league. 12 teams. 8 keepers I think.

I wouldn't in 8 keeper league
But he's a guy who can help in a few categories as a reliever. Those are valuable depending on the league
