Beasley was Puebla's best player last year. I THINK he was actually voted by his teammates as player of the year for them ? I maybe mistaking, though.

Adu is not fast. He is quick and can be deadly given space but he is slow and it can be very easy to knock him off the ball.
Nothing new, that's what he's been trying to cope with since he turned pro. Coaches dont trust him enough to give him "the keys to the offense" but he doesn't play well enough defensively to put him in the midfield or out wide. That's always been his problem

I agree with everything you said. Like I said he gets pushed off the ball a lot. He has progressed. The only thing we haven't agree'd upon is speed. He is no Walcott, tho.

I think we will find out how good Boyd is. Not that Jozy is old or anything (risk of retiring is n/a) I'd still like to see how the squad plays without him. Id really like to see herc get a chance too. When are they announcing? I hate waiting. Should be soon

It's nuts that Jozy and Adu are both only 22. They've gotten so much playing time.
Jozy has had a helluva season with AZ. I'd be completely shocked if he isn't called up. It's the best season he has ever had AND it's World Cup Qualifying.
The only thing I can think of is that AZ doesn't want him to play, or his head injury, but he has played since then.
