Dethatching will make it healthier. Not nessasarily grow faster. And it will allow you to cut shorter.
Just try a small spot and see how it works. When I get home I'll see if I can find the blades and link it for you.
You can check into primo but it's expensive. Will slow down growth.

If I would use the dethatching blades on my thick st. Aug lawn, would my yard have a clean cut look to it or would it tear my yard up.
