275-285 when younger. Now, 225- 240 max but down the middle. I use the old man shortened backswing and lose the magnification of any errors from the longer swing and stiffness in the joints. Works for me. And......

I would like to know how often y'all drive par 4's b/c if you can consistently carry a drive that far you're going to be driving some of the short par 4's

I've caught a few that got to 270. I'm a club shorter than everyone i know.

What's a good range finder for a decent price to measure driving distances accurately? I get it over 300 at least twice a round, going off the scorecard and yardage markers. According to some here, I should just take 30 yards off of that.
I'd say my average is 280, not including the ones that slam tree and come back up the hole, and the occasional straight duck hook. Distance was never a problem for me. Short game and long irons kill me.

If you have a range finder scope the people behind you on the tee box to get a pretty good judge of distance.
