Don't forget about Todd Kinchen. Wendell Davis, Eric Martin, Josh Reed, Eddie Kinneson were favorites as well.

There are three receivers I really liked that we didn't get to see enough of in action:
A. Booty
Bech
Randall

Todd Kinchen - he may not have been the best but he was my favorite.

Gotta love this sweet TD grab highlight in High Def!

For personal reasons, it would have to be Tony Moss. I was his backup at Bossier High in 81, 82 and I've rarely met a nicer guy. He was also one of the fastest human beings I've ever seen run. All SEC 88 & 89.

This...seemed like he caught literally everything that was thrown his way.

Josh Reed is favorite, with Clayton a close second. I can only distantly remember Wendell Davis as a youngster, to give a frame of reference.
He was overshadowed by Bowe, but I always respected Buster Davis also. Fought injuries early, letting Bowe get a headstart on him, but Buster had SOLID hands.

and during my LSU years Larry Foster ran some great routes (across the Quad)

Tony Moss for personal reasons also. Grew up with him being my idle.
2nd being Skyler Green. Something about undersized receivers.

Wendell Davis--did he ever drop a pass? What a combo--Hodson to Davis was, atleast for two years.
As a close second, here's one very few would nominate and many are too young to recall: Gerald Keigley. He made a lot of big catches & was All-SEC for the Tigers in the early 70's.

You almost have to have a QB to go with receiver. It would have been great to see what future all-pro receivers like our most recent would/could have done with good/great QB's. Top of my list are following:
1. Dalton Hilliard (as receiver out of backfield on screen passes)
2. Michael Clayton (after the catch)
3. Dwayne Bowe from Jarmacus Russell - great chemistry and instincts)
4. Josh Reed from Rohan Davey on crossing route ALL the way across the field - best combo in LSU history (IMO)
5. Eric Martin (great hands)
6. Andy Hamilton (When LSU would throw)
7. Wendell Davis (most prolific)
8. Sammy Martin (great moves after catch)
9. Skyler Green (great speed)
10. Devery Henderson (Blue Grass miracle!)
