Kind of strange that USC hasn't offered. Everyone else over there has.

Kid is impressive and it seems almost everyone has offered him. Loves southern football and that is what's driving so many southern teams to pursue him. Most southern teams don't normally venture into Hawaii. Has already made a swing through Texas earlier this spring for a camp and a couple of school visits. Worth a shot and a visit definitely doesn't hurt.

I am definitely impressed with Les, Chief, Brick or whoever is recruiting him. Scout showing 27 offers. What other four schools is he visiting?

He is fast for a big guy and brings a big thud when he reaches his target.

Scout insiders believe he is a heavy Oregon lean. Oregon has a ton of Hawaiians on the team in Mariota, Keliikipi, Buckner, Koa Kai'i (latter three being DL guys) and several walk-on.

His delaying his announcement was not good news.

He is delaying his announcement because he is waiting for a USC offer. He'll be at the Rising Stars Camp at USC in June. Expect it then.

BTW, he is from San Diego, and calls himself a "Cali boy". He is not originally from Hawaii.

Clemson is a definite for one of his official visits in the fall along with Nebraska, Baylor and LSU.

Yes, and Clemson may be a big player for him.

quote:

(Clemson) and Gamecocks have a legitimate shot with him primarily due to the fact that most of his family lives in the Greenville area. Several of his family members went to Clemson. “It would feel just like family if I were to choose to go there,” Pagano said. Pagano last visited the state when he was eight but he plans to make a return trip.
