it's stupid that someone that is willing to shell out that money can get the gear much, much easier, faster, and put in less time than I would have to to get that same piece.

That's how I feel. Most of the fun for me was playing the game and doing runs over and over again in D2. Made actually GETTING the item that much more rewarding.
However I don't really care if someone pays for their stuff. Especially stuff that isn't only on the money auction house.
That's what bothers me, when someone can buy something I CAN'T get. But since that's not an issue in this game I don't really care.
