Little dales marinade, or somn you like. Try diff combos of seasoning. Most people differ in their favorite seasonings. Key IMO is don't Overcook. Med to med rare is best. After that it gets dry

What part of the deer would you cut into steaks?

IMO anything other than blackstrap or tenderloins on the grill is meh

Marinate overnight when you can. If using Dales don't use too much or the taste is overpowering and salty. Italian dressing is good. Allegro wild game is good. Mesquite lime also

Hindquarters if they are trimmed properly and tenderized I bet I could cook each and you couldn't tell the diff. A lot of folks I know don't practice enough with grilling it to find what works for them. Me, would rather have grilled over fried.
