One of your links says it is better than Wrigley

I haven't been to some of those stadiums you listed and I can't keep up with all the sponsors. But I'll give you the historic ones, SF, Pitt and Minn.

From TV, I really don't see anything special about Detroit, Denver or KC. Not saying Houston is better necessarily. As to the Angles park, did they build a new one or redo the old one? I went to the old one in the early 90's and it was a dump, I don't see how it could be "better" if all the did was redo it.

At the end of the day, its just an opinion. Minute Maid is a nice park, arguing over which is the "best" is pointless. Its another one of those swimsuit model arguments. It doesn't really matter, but congrats being an internet bully that just wants to stomp on others for no reason.

Houston as a whole has a nice collect of new sports facilities and lets just leave it at that.

Reliant was fricking awesome when I went for the MLS all-stars vs. Man United. I can't imagine the atmosphere for a big Texans game

Wow, I can't believe it a thread about Houston and it took 3, 4 pages for KK to come in and disagree

If you removed the hill, then most people wouldn't bash it so much.

Its such a non factor, its mind blowing to me that people bash it so much. Its supposedly from either the old park in Cincy or maybe Pitt.

As for the Crawford Boxes, its short, but lots of other new parks had short porches. I think its impact has also been a tad over rated and due to a rash of HR's the year it opened. Kind of like the old Metro dome was know as the "homer dome" from the time it opened, even though through out its history, it was below the mean in HR's hit. Perceptions stick.

I agree on both. The hill is goofy but it really isn't a factor. The homerun numbers aren't out of control. Beyond the short porches, there are also a lot of parks that are short in the power alleys like Philly. Field dimensions are part of the game.

With few exceptions, all NBA arenas seem the same to me.

I saw a guy in a purple LSU polo the other day walking in a parking lot in Scottsdale and when I was backing up I told him "Geaux Tigers"....any chance that was you?

Are you fricking joking right now?

The thread title asks for my opinion on Houston's pro sports facilities and you're telling me I'm an internet bully for saying no about Minute Maid?

Good because it isn't. Kauffman is very nice now, and you'll see that as they Host the All Star Game this year. Beautiful stadium after the major renovation. Coors is also nice, just older (1995) but still nice. Comerica Park is very nice too, PNC Park is very similar to Comerica inside as Populous was the architect for both stadiums and they opened a year apart.

But then again you said from TV, so you can't really say much.
