I won't hate on Minute Made as hard as to say they are at the bottom of the league, but I will say that park is far from the top.

I've been countless times and have never been overly impressed with the park. But far from a bottom feeder.

You forgot Jobing.com Arena in Glendale right across the street from UOP stadium. Only 15 years old. Very nice arena. US Airways arena is very old and the seating is horrible.

I won't disagree with this, it's probably middle of the pack. I've been to quite a few MLB stadiums. The atmosphere back during the playoffs though was absolutely out of control with the roof closed. I think Reliant and Toyota Center are absolutely top notch, but I haven't been in as many NFL stadiums and NBA arenas as MLB parks

The original plan for Jobing.com Arena was in the east valley, but it didn't pass the vote. Glendale was the next option. Blame the people of the east valley for your issues getting to Glendale not the Coyotes.

God, I love that stadium. I'll likely have my ashes scattered half over that field and half over tiger stadium, whenever one of my various vices finally kills me.

When the Texans string together a run of playoff appearances, people will finally find out about it. That place was deafening last year in the Wild Card round, I can only imagine what it will be like for an AFC Championship.

Oh I am aware. I just think since hockey isn't huge here already and competes with the Suns who are popular, it was risky to alienate the east valley and a huge portion of the population. In addition, hockey doesn't exactly appeal to the lower class (it's expensive to play at the youth level and the tickets aren't cheap) and there is a lot of money out here. Football works in Glendale because it is Sunday and 10 games a year if you include the preseason games.

Don't forget that the product that plays in the arena can bring down the overall feel of the stadium. If that product is losing a lot, it can make the arena seem less electric, boring, and like you want to leave soon.

When the Rangers sucked during the 2000's, it was very hard to go to any games. The stadium is beautiful, but the heat and the crappy product on the field made BPiA look worse than it was. During the playoffs last year at night, you can't tell me that BPiA wasn't amazing with the fireworks and what not going off and 50K fans (3rd biggest stadium by capacity in the MLB) screaming.

I think that's fair, its not a momunent like Fenway or the 4th worst stadium in baseball, Wrigley, but its light years ahead of the Astrodome, so in Houston we may over rate it a bit.

I haven't been to a lot of the new stadiums, but I'd take MM over Atlanta, Milwaukee and Cleveland. SF is nicer.

5. Minute Maid Park(Houston Astros) – This gets a nod and reaches into the pantheon of current stadiums for 2 reasons:
1. It looks gloomy like the kind of stadium where people go on blind dates where they don’t have to see one another.
2. The hill in center field. I’m not sure what complete idiot decided to put a hill in center field but the first time someone tears there ACL we’ll have that douche bag to thank.

Very legitimate reasons.

Architecture.

Size.

Sightlines.

Just looks like a JV stadium compared to say the Top 10 in baseball.

Oh and to the other guy that said show me a list that ranks it near the bottom, then coming back and saying "dead last" stick to what was actually said instead of changing your claim when I show you proof. 20th in MLB is near the bottom.

Minute Made doesn't crack the Top 15 or even Top 20 on about every single stadium list you want to find.

Get over it Houston fans.
