Probably a stupid question but......are all propane grill burners the same? I have three old ones that need to be replaced (they are like 12 years old and rusted to all hell).

Just wondering if I could replace all three or do I have to buy a whole new grill?

I'm not sure what you're talking about, exactly.

Most replacements I had were for certain brands, big box hardware stores would have what you need, or google for you brand

Are they cast iron burners? I just replaced all 4 of my rusted out burners with stainless steel ones.
I have a coleman grill and paid $60 for all 4 from Colemans website.

I think they are cast iron because they are rusted to holy hell. I am not sure they make the type of burner I need in stainless (old Sam's brand - Member's Mark)...that's a great thought though and I need to look into that.

You should be able to get a universal kit if they can mount level in the pit. I put in a cast iron one for my mom with stainless burners. I called the manufacturer and got all of the P/N a from them and went to the local hardware store. Like I said, your only problem would be too get them mounted level.

Forgot that you need to find one with the same dimension as the original so it fits and you don't have any cold spots

My grill had those and they suck. The cast iron flakes off and stops up the holes. I have replaced them 3 times over the years. Last time I replaced with the stainless steel tube type. Also replace the piece of steel that the burners attach to with a piece of stainless.
