Im posting from a Samsung galaxy Note. Just got it today, and its bad ass. I've had droids and all iphone models, and i like the droid better. This phone is huge but it fits in my back pocket and its thin. Im in my car or office most of the time so i don't mind the size

iPhone comes out with "new" hardware, but it's pretty much the same feel across all the iPhones...some of the android devices feel like you have to break your thumbs to type. I've never even handled a S1 or S2. Does it feel cheap or is it very responsive?

Doesn't the Galaxy Note run on Gingerbread though? That is the only thing I wouldn't like about it.

The note is GB but should be getting ICS sometime this quarter.

I have the HTC Inspire 4G and I hate it. Now I hear they are choosing to not upgrade it to ICS, saying Inspire is EOL (END OF LIFE). Lame.

That is a huge phone. My mom just got one and doesn't know what to do with it. She is an apple iPhone regular and is completely blown away. I spent about an hour tweaking it for her. 
You can expect an update to ICS very soon.

That's my biggest complaint about Android os... some devices get new os 6 months to a year before others...

It's one of the primary setbacks with Android right now.
Jelly Bean will be out on Google's next device by the end of the year, and there will still be a substantial amount of Android users running Gingerbread.

IMO, each major brand should be allowed one flagship phone... HTC evo, motor razr, Samsung nexus... etc... Each company making 25 phones makes it impossible to update all phones in a timely fashion.

Yeah, wasn't there a thread on here last week or so, detailing the unveiling of the specs and whatnot?
I think it has a quad core processor and a 4.8 inch screen.

I think I'm gonna get the HTC Incredible 4G LTE.
I hate how all the "flagship" phones are 4.3/4.6/4.8" That's just too big for a phone IMO. The Incredible is 4" which is perfect IMO. I was debating waiting around to see what the Iphone5 will look like but it doesn't seem like it will be released until October.

Whatever phone Samsung has out when the iPhone 5 hits is certain to be a technically better phone.
The iPhone 5 will be awesome anyway.
