The US has five games in 17 days( ) beginning on 5/26, including WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS on 6/8 and 6/12.

I would expect a roster release later this week, as camp begins on the 15th.

I think with that many games we may see more than 23 brought in.

Here's *my* 28:

GK
Howard
Guzan
Rimando(?) (Hamid?)

D
Lichaj
Chandler
Goodson
Bocanegra
Onyewu(?) (if healthy)
Ream
Cherundolo
Johnson
Parkhurst

M
Dempsey
Donovan
Bradley
Torres
Jones
Edu
Shea
Beasley
Kljestan(?)
Williams (if healthy)
Feilhaber (or Zusi?)

F
Altidore
Gomez
Wondolowski
Adu(?)
Boyd(?) (or Buddle?)

Herc better be called up.

And Adu deserves a call up more than DMB.

Is Agudelo hurt or do you not see him getting a call up?

He played briefly against LA this weekend.... looked a little rusty.

If healthy, he will probably get a look as well.

Not so sure Agudelo should be on the roster. He needs to recover from his injury and earn a starting job in MLS before he gets another chance with the USMNT. Herc has to be called in

I think this would be my 11.

--------Altidore--Dempsey----------

Shea----Jones--Bradley-----Donovan

Lichaj---Ream--Bocanegra---Chandler

-------------Howard--------------

*toss ups for me

* Shea/Fabian Johnson at LM
* Dempsey at LM with Herc up top
* Chandler at left, Cherundolo on the right(I love Cherundolo, but I think it's time to give the youth a shot)
* Onyewu/Ream

I still like Shea as a super sub so much better, his first 30 minutes are always much better than the remainder of the game, why not use that with tired defensive backs?

Beckerman is having a stellar season for RSL. Coupled with the fact that he's a Jurgen favorite, he'll probably get a call.

Especially considering how tired Shea always seems.. 5 games in that many days if he's starting will see him next to useless towards the end..

Not tryin to knock the guy I just think he needs to work on his endurance before he's as useful as he can be for us

Brazil is one of five games we're playing. We have to remember that we're preparing for the Central American teams of CONCACAF. The ugly but effective Beckermans (see: Mastroeni, Casey etc.) of the world will always have a spot in US teams for the foreseeable future.

I was going to say Toll Lenhart, but until he gets a cap, he's the greatest "what if" in US Soccer history.

The Lenhart/Wondo pairing has the quakes near the top of the table.

Lenhart might have some kind of contribution if he continues this good run of form. I can't possibly see how he could be any worse than Connor Casey a couple of years ago. He actually seems like he has way more talent even though he's never put up Casey numbers.

He's more Nate Jaqua than Conor Casey.

If you're to bring in a big guy that wants to play all over the field, you may as well call in Cooper. He's more skilled than Lenhart is.

At least Lenhart is WILLING to get in the middle and mix it up.... I'd say he's 60% Jaqua/40% Casey. Cooper is more like 90%/10%.

Casey was just a big Neanderthal. There's definitely a place for "Neanderthal", but I don't know if Klinsmann would build that in or not.
