Damn. I had no idea they released these today. I just watched the first one but not real sure on the split screen. Surely that is just if you have more than one on a console.

That is if you're all in the same room on one Xbox

basically you give yourself unlimited resources of whatever you want. Taints the game to me

Yeah I saw someone using that in a video. I want to be able to play it without all that as well
eta: As far as servers, from what I gathered in one of those videos Stout posted, there can be a max of 8 people (Xbox Live party) on a server so maybe your Xbox will be its own server

I dunno fool, i hope not, I dont want to wait for whoever its saved on to get on Minecraft to be able to play. Unless I misunderstood how it works, which would be no surprise

Will you return to xbox for this?

You have a point. I'm not sure how it will be either then.

I can't possibly imagine playing Minecraft with a gamepad and analog sticks. Seems like it would be akin to playing the mobile version, which is nothing short of frustrating.
Not to mention the complete lack of mod support.

I've never played it on computer so I won't know any different and lack of mod support does not bother me either. I've never played computer games or used mods or any of that so I'm fine with it.

I've seen some of those mob traps. Some are pretty detailed.
Mine is going to be a massive underground one. This is what I have dug out so far for it.

Does not bother me. The mods, outside of texture packs which Xbox will support at a later date, make the game boring for the most part. What fun is it just to spawn in everything you need?
I know there are some mods that add to the game like the adventure ones and such but I have never used any of them and the enjoy the game just fine.

I still need to 1 row higher and 1 lower to allow for Ender men to spawn properly when I start building it.

Is there a place to look that shows you the dimensions you need for certain things?

Well, I suppose if you've never played any computer game that grants a first person perspective, you obviously won't know any different.
I just can't imagine attempting to build even a moderately detailed structure using two analog sticks. The control method simply isn't as quick or precise as a mouse and keyboard.
