People in Brenham might give a shite about Lee, but no one else does. If you really think some high school kid in Texas is avoiding MIles/LSU because of Jarrett Leee, you're crazy. I'd think most barely know who he is. They do probably know who Michael Brockers, Matt Flynn, Brandon Lafell, Ron Brooks, (not from Texas) Bradie James, Marcus Spears are.

i'm totally dumbfounded....
anyway, anyone who would sign with WVU is someone that wouldn't go to LSU in the first place....probably someone that wanted to get as far away from Texas as possible...

Tha frick are you talking about? Do you not see the correlation of what we are saying? You think HS players in the 2012 or 2013 classes care more about some scrub QB than they do about bonafide NFL players from their state? LSU had 1 fewer player from Texas drafted this year than the Longhorns did. That is what HS players care about. Not some pissy moaning about a mediocre quarterback not getting a fair shake. To suggest that the whole state of Texas doesn't like Les because of that shite is even more asinine.

OK, scrub was too strong for sure, but I don't really think describing him as mediocre could qualify as "mean talk". I like JL, but those posts about Les/Texas were silly.

Moving to the Big 12 is a bad recruiting move for WVU IMHO. For the past three decades WVU has gotten good recruits out of South Florida. Not a lot but they always get some diamonds in the rough, going all the way back to Major Harris.
Moving to the Big 12 is going to kill their profil in FL and I don't see them pulling as many recruits out of Texas. It's even further away than FL and I just don't see kids turing down chances to play for even Houston, Baylor and SMU to go to Morgantown, much less UT, A&M or Oklamhoma.
