Needs to make a 49 footer on 9 to have a chance to make the cut.

Looks like he played great today. Good for him. He deserves it and was real close to going low on a couple rounds last week.

He didn't hit the ball worth a shite either. Less than 50% of the fairways. You really have to wonder what the hell is going on with him when he takes a month off after shanking it around Augusta National, then says his swing is fixed, and comes out looking like this.

IMO, he played like he really didn't want to be there or even playing golf. Same demeanor he had at this years Match Play event.

From what I saw on TV yesterday, I'd agree. He didn't even look pissed like he did at the Masters when he was spraying it all over. Maybe he's realized that these new swing changes just aren't going to work out or something.

Or, he's got newly imposed contractual obligations to play a certain number of tournaments.

Definitely missed the entire day sleeping on the couch, trying to recover from last night.

He's going back to old Haney moves at points,, which is why he's hitting it terrible at points. His release is not good at times

I feel like alot of his problems off the tee stem from him setting up so far from the ball. At times it looks like he is literally reaching at the setup.

Such an awful swing plane Haney had him on also.

Round 2 over

Nick Watney Leads at -12
Webb Simpson at -11
Cink, Crane, Points, Senden all at -10

Rory -6
Toms -5
Patrick Reed -4
Phil, Westwood both -1

Tiger got cut, which is crazy. He now has 8, crazy to think Mickelson has missed 63 in his career.

I'm definitely no expert on the golf swing, but why do you say this? From the little I know about the situation, I think Hank basically got Tiger from taking his club back "across the line" at the top. Now, there are several really good, even great, players who get it across the line at the top, but it makes sense to me to get it even with the target line or "on plane" if possible.

Regardless of the philosophy, it's are to argue with Tiger's results with Haney. He was arguably more dominant from 2005-2007 than he was in 2000 if you look at Tiger's statistics.
