I don't at all believe this. Saw it on the news yesterday.

Think he's going to be wearing stripes and sleeping in a small enclosure for a while after this.

I seriously agree with this. I hope this guy gets jail time simply for being a moron. I know for a fact the federal magistrates that handle these cases don't play.

Lying comes naturally to a politician, even a local idiot politician like this one. They have no shame when it comes to covering their asses.

So he was sitting on his buddies porch and shot 56 Whistling Ducks to alleviate the "investigation" (infestation).

Hope you like jail hoss.

Wasn't there a councilman down there that advocated digging a canal deeper instead of spending money on a higher bridge?

Badeaux’s defense claims that while it may look like a duck and quack like a duck, it doesn’t necessarily mean it is actually a duck. “It was confusion on my part -- bad judgement and it won’t happen again and whatever happens, happens,” Badeaux said.

what a maroon

Everybody knows what Mexican Squealers are.... they're ducks.

But 56? Was he hunting the pond in the Audubon zoo?

The pond in Audubon park is ridiculous, I think you could probably kill 20 with one shot.

Whether or not he considered it a duck or a bird, it is a migatory waterfowl subject to federal and state hunting regulations. Using his logic, we can shoot all of the puldeaux that we want because they are not ducks. This is a total disregard for the law and he got caught.

What a POS!!!

Badeaux said he was helping a friend eliminate a bird investigation at his home. He said he was sitting on the porch wearing shorts and sandals when he opened fire.

Nosy investigative birds. They went after him while in his flippy flops.
