Unfortunately, compared to last year like what happened with Josh Bell, it is more likely he will go to college if he is insisting this with the draft slotting now. No team would ever do now what the Pirates did with Bell

I hope the kid does go to college if that is his wish and to credit the kid, he said all along last year that he was set on going to college. We and others just took the cautious route and didn't believe him. If I'm him I take the MLB money if it's there. The purpose of college is to further your career and find a good job and if MLB is willing to pay him millions then isn't that considered a professional success no matter if he pans out or not? Would be to me. Besides his football upside is limited by his height but Weeden shows that if baseball doesn't work out then he can go back to college and play qb. If good enough he can even get drafted. Win win to me.
