He won't get that. The guys who actually know recruiting already know Nick. I know it's early, but a lot of people are projecting him to outgrow RB and play LB in college

That's the new thing to do these days. If a kid is big as a freshman everyone latches on to the talk that they'll outgrow the position. Let the kids develop a couple of years before starting that talk. Some kids just get their height early and barely grow much after the initial spurt. Happens in baseball all the time. Great 12-14 year olds that hit their growth spurt earlier dominate but over the next 3-4 years they stop growing and getting better while those good, solid kids keep growing and getting better and surpass the guys everyone swears is the next ARod. Time will always separate the real and the facades.

That kid has it. He looks like Blue in HS. He understands angles and has burst.

This year will be telling losing 4 senior OL, including both 1st Team All-District OT's. Still a couple of talented guys, but overall size and experience will be down a bit. Nick is a horse though-runs hard, gets better as the game goes on (what you like to see in a RB).

Kinda my thoughts. He's had the best line on his district for the two years he's started. Will be interesting if his production continues to increase despite the lower quality of OLine.

Personally, I think he was better as an 8th grader than 9th in terms of an explosive runner.

Nick is special. Kinda off topic but I have to question your statement about Uhigh having the best o line in the dist for the last two years. Episcopal had 3 first team o linemen each of the last two years. Now next year Uhigh will have hands down best Oline in dist.

horrible example

fournette is built like a major college back at 15 years old and put up crazy numbers at the highest level of Louisiana high school football competition in one of the most difficult districts in the state
