I have known a friend for forty plus years, and he inherited a collection of arms that is out of ths world. One of his toys is a functioning Gatlin gun circa Civil War era.

yall aren't going to like what I say but here it goes. I have no sympathy for the man that was attacked. If the story is true than he had ample opportunity to defend himself and did not. If a mob of 20 people are coming my way armed with pipes and chairs and what not then they will be met with lethal force, period. An unarmed citizen is just a victim waiting to happen.

So, anyone who is not armed 24/7 is "responsible" for whatever sort of heinous mob beating they might ever receive?

Do you also not have sympathy for domestic violence victims? Because many of them also had warning signs before they were eventually attacked.

well in order for an argument to be valid you have to compare apples to apples and domestic violence is not comparable to that situation, but yes I do have sympathy for people that are victims of domestic violence but with that said I do not have sympathy for a person that will stay around and repeatably be the victim over and over again.

maybe so, you got me there, but if it did happen the way it was reported than it seems like the victim should have had time to make a better decision.
