EPL is, at best, the 3rd league in Europe.

Right behind the SPL, right?

Right now it's LL>EPL>Bund>SerieA>Ligue1

I hate their holier than thou attitude and how they develop their own players claim as if they are superior.

Of the top 4 players in the world right now, they developed 3 of them: Messi, Xavi, and Iniesta. I think they have a legitimate claim.

Yeah, their acadmey is terrific, but they still have the resources to buy whoever the frick they want when they are 10, instead of 25. Messi was a prodigal talent from day one. It is not like they are finding diamonds out of the rough.

It's probably been discussed, but the over-reacting and constant appeals for cards and calls.

I know, most teams do this, but it seems Barca do it more. Someone gets fouled, and literally half of their team is in the official's face, calling for a card.

I used to be a very big Barca fan, but it seems they flop, dive, whine, and cry more than they used to do. Perhaps I just more perceptive now?

Except Messi. He tries to stay on his feet more than nearly 99% of players in the world. I respect that heck out of that.

flop, dive,

actually, they've made a noticeably concerted effort to get away from this

I hate that they both rush the ref after every call and try to bully him. That's what annoys me, refs need to card people who encircle him.

I've been a Barca fan since I started watching soccer when I was in middle school. My gf is a HUGE madridista. To her credit she does dislike CR7 (Ozil is her favorite player). The disagreement has made for fun Clasico bets (of which I have 0 loses)

Couldn't agree more, which is why I stated the same thing.

It's ridiculous. Like they need referee help to win.

I don't dislike either. I have good friends in Barcelona so I tend to root for them to do well. As stated already, I just hate some of the players... Sergio Busquets, Pedro, Marcelo, Di Maria.

I just hate when they play each other as of late. There is incredible talent facing off and yet it is typically a shite show. Kinda hoping for a Bayern Munch v Barca CL final for that reason. Maybe Ribery can get himself suspended for the final for a bonus.
