Intersting that the in the 8th grade your are already getting offers? I completly understand recruiting kids that young but offering them a scholy?

I'm sorry, but I've NEVER been an Indiana fan, particularly since Bob Knight won that Final Four contest against the Tigers in New Orleans so many years ago.

Now, you throw in Tom Crean, who reminds me of Judd Nelson, and that just makes it worse.

How old is the average 8th grader? 13 or 14..this guy is showing a beard! I've known alot of 8th graders that could really play BUT only played 21 years in high school because they were too old!

It's a risk vs. reward type of thing, obviously, but even Eric Gordon himself has been saying for years that his youngest brother would be the best of the three. I normally don't like offers this early and still don't with this one as I think IU would have a good shot even if they waited but I think this is as safe a bet as you'll find

IU did this back in the 80s with some player (Damon? somebody) who turned out to be very average.
