I don't mind Spirit, sure it sounds WNBA-ish but so did Thunder/Heat/Wizards/Suns/Magic at one point in time. Those things are forgotten now.
Denver Nuggets, and that color scheme? Can you get anymore WNBA-ish than that? I mean they had freakin rainbows on their jerseys at one point in time. But people don't ever talk about them sounding WNBA-ish.
It has potential, especially with a good logo and color scheme. Lets be honest, if the logos, color schemes, and uniforms are good, people won't mind the name.

For some reason, I'm already cringing at the press release announcing that name, if it really happens, because you know they're going to tie some "spirit of rebuilding after Katrina" line into it.
