If it comes to fruition would be his second stint as an LSU assistant. His first was rather short, not sure the reasons why, but he was one of the many of Dale's coach/player packages back in the day. He came with Derrick Taylor.
Very solid X and O guy. Not sure what he can bring as a recruiter, but perhaps others would have that responsibility.

Trent Johnson came to LSU with a much more impressive track record than the three men mentioned above. Those three all went to the Final Four; Johnson didn't.
Once again, you're choosing to be unhappy, and you're showing your resentment of those of us who choose the opposite by calling us "unrealistic." Negatigers are no more realistic than the rest of us--stop being so full of yourselves. You're party-killers, you're sad, you're mostly crappy fans, you think you're too cool for sunshine, you equate positive thinking with a lack of intelligence and/or rational thought, and you secretly can't WAIT for a coach to lose so that you can be proven right. And occasionally you will be proven right. Johnny Jones is going to make his share of bone-head moves, and every time he does it, it'll make your day. But I have terrible news for you--he's also going to win the SEC occasionally, and he's also going to the Final Four eventually, and (I hope you're sitting down) there's an outside chance that one day he'll win a national title. I just hope for your sake that when that happens, you aren't a gun-owner. You people are annoying and love the smell of your own farts way too much, but I don't want to see you die because of it. Life is precious.
Johnny Jones will be successful at LSU, and there is nothing that you can do about it.

St amant has several d1 football and basketball players that are freshmen. This hire, if it happens, will pay off.

Pretty sure the first part of this is in a foreign language, but as to the latter part, I think he'd be in jail if true.
Happened at two different schools in the Central area back in the mid '80s. Different time where coaches were just let go vs. being arrested and added to sex offenders list like today.

This is a good hire. The guy is one of the most well respected LA high school coaches. If he's still just a glorified intermediary that's a win in itself. Livingston would be a sexy hire but Duhe is being brought in because of his connections....also, Alleva probably has required this considering he called to consult him a few days before he hired Jones.

These kids have a core group of 5-6 guys that have been playing football and aau basketball together for years. They were going into san antonio on the aau circuit last year and going undefeated. You are a moron.
