Blues has officially become my fav. genre of music. There's just nothing like the blues guitar imo. I'm just curious as to what other blues fans enjoy.
My top 3:
Buddy Guy
Stevie Ray Vaughn
B.B. King

in no particular order...
Buddy Guy
Muddy Waters
Robert Johnson
I'd go SRV or Clapton for guitar but to me they are rock artists that delve into blues. Similarly I'd say Buddy Guy is a blues artist that goes into rock sometimes.
Muddy for performer, prolly the largest catalog of hall of fame blues songs (nod to Willie Dixon). Then he had to be one of the badassest arse coolest guys to ever roam the planet. In his late 60's he pens 'Champagne & Reefer'.
Robert Johnson as the cornerstone of taking the blues out of the cotton field and to the public. Reminds me of Hendrix in how in such a brief stint on earth how incredible their mark and influence was.
