The A1 people must be really proud of their sauce. 5 bucks for 8 ounces seems a kind of crazy. Is it made with unicorn blood and gypsy tears?

Haha! You use A1! Just steal it from a restaurant. Who buys condiments when they give them away?

ETA: I love A1 on some reheated sirloin on bread. frick the haters.

Probably because no one buys it. They figure they have a few poor souls hooked and no matter what they charge these people will still buy it.

This stuff is $5 for 5 ounces, and even though I can't really remember what A1 tastes like this is probably a better option anyway.

Tabasco steak sauce blows A1 out of the water if you want a similar taste

I just threw a bottle away that I found in the back of my fridge- I wish I had known it was so valuable!

An aside- at lunch this past Easter, my uncle asked for steak sauce for his filet and when my parents told him they didn't have any, he went and got ketchup, lea &perrins, tony's and a few other ingredients and made his own 'steak sauce'. I wanted to punch him in the face.

A-1 and mayo mixed together on a bacon cheeseburger is pretty legit
