Van Der Beek's life stories could get good. This show is great... so far.

I just don't see how this show has longevity.

The whole bitch angle will get old fast.

Van der Beek is hilarious. If the show keeps this up it will be more than adequate as a fill in for Happy Endings.

Too early to tell. Good writing and character development can go a long way.

The latest commercials are pimping it as a new Odd Couple. I could see that working, but the name is terrible.

Sitcom character: "I have cake in my crack" and the audience roars with laughter. Good lord. No wonder Arrested Development couldn't find an audience.

I definitely enjoyed this show. The name clearly needs to be changed, and they have a long way to go but I could see it doing fairly well.

It's prob going to be like 8 Simple Rules for dating my Teenage Daughter getting advertised as 8 Simple Rules when it took off.

Name didn't change, they just short handed it.

Prob going to be Apt 23 here

Eehhhhhhh I didn't love it. First of all, I hate the title. And during the intro they had b**** written/scratched out, and during the lyrics they rhymed snitch with "sshhhhh" or something. Ok, yeah, we get it. It's like they're trying to say "Oh we're cool and edgy because we're THIS close to saying a cuss word...but we really aren't."

Also, one of the main, major characters is EXTREMELY unlikable. Just a total, flat out bitch for no reason to a genuinely nice, naive girl. With HIMYM, Ted is a little whiny bitch, but at least he's not hateful, and everyone else picks up his slack. With the dark haired girl, she's just plain cruel. I really liked Van Derbeek, surprisingly so actually. He was great. The blond main character is good too and I'm glad she got back at the bitch, but I wonder how long that can go on for. Unless they become friends (like we kind of saw at the end) and the bitch is no longer a bitch anymore. Then we're just left with a sitcom about 2 girls and a guy friend living in a big city? Meh.

I haven't seen the show yet, but I plan to based on this thread.

However, this:
quote:

Also, one of the main, major characters is EXTREMELY unlikable. Just a total, flat out bitch for no reason

seems like an unfair criticism, especially when you complain about the title that clearly states that the character is, in fact, a bitch.

It's like saying 'I didn't like that show Entourage because 3 of the characters don't do anything other than ride the coattails of their famous friend.' You can't complain about information given to you in the title of the show.
