I guess, but this was the kind of stuff that ultimately alienated me from my Catholic upbringing. One of our best, nicest Catechism teachers was in an abusive relationship andgot divorced. The priest summarily wouldn't let her teach anymore. Really ticked me off. Way to kick somebody when their down.

I am a full supporter of the policy that these private schools have but that doesnt mean that I agree with the application of the policy in the situation you just stated.
The school/priest probably felt that they had to be consistent with the rules and regulations.

I kige this. This is an evangelical Christian school, and the parents expect a certain system of values to be part of the education. Having a child out of wedlock is incompatible with those values. The school would be committing fraud if it allowed her to remain in that position.

Good for the school.
Women have the right to sleep around, have bastards, abort other ones, whatever.
I have the right to think they are sluts for doing so. The school has a right to set standards.
That's why the country is fricked. EVERYTHING's equally okay and it is "archaic" to have any standards of behavior. Pregnancy isn't just some affliction that randomly befell the woman - she went out and decided to frick somebody.
