Was there any package deal with LJ's dad getting a support position? I can't remember if it was J-Mychal Reese or LJ Rose whose dad was kind of shopping him around. And LSU was a token finalist for one of those guys. I can't remember which Texas point guard though. I'm not flaming.

Swilling Jr's tweets, regardless how you feel about Swilling jr, were a good insight into the opinion of Trent in relation to recruits. Will we get Gathers now we don't have Trent? It cannot hurt because we were damn sure not getting him with Trent.

There was a thread here yesterday or the day before , can't find it either, paraphrasing he was like "hell yea". Just read all of his Tweets some LSU in there, him mentioning we don't want him for one, and the one Tweet of him saying it opened things back up but I cannot find the one where he referenced Trent.

Wish I could find the one with the Trent reference and it was a bit disturbing, its obvious he wants to be at LSU and if other recruits have a fraction of the feeling towards Trent its no wonder we did not get anyone to come here. I hope something comes out about TJ that makes some sense as to why we get zero talent. Maybe it will explain the last years with Trent.

What makes me think twice is , if CTJ wasn't willing to play ball with aau coaches and that's the reason certain recruits weren't giving LSU the time of day, why would they now? I'm prob just paranoid.

With the right coach, it should be a great year. I think we have 3 potential all conference players (Hickey, Turner and Bryant) and a decent supporting cast. I'd love for them to pick up at least one more front court player, but I'd rather them not reach. I'm just glad we are moving on and starting over. They last couple of years have been painful..
