re: electronic cigarettes, anyone try them?

It's better that they smoke e-cigs than real ones around their little kids, no?

It isn't smoking. It's water vapor. It doesn't put any toxins in the air and nothing is burning there for you are not smoking. That is why the people who do it call it vapeing.

I use green smoke. Not too bad, and a bit expensive. I use mine in my car so that it doesn't smell like an ash tray. I haven't known anyone that uses the ecig, and completely quits smoking.

I used smoketip. I haven't had a cigarette in going on 9 months and went from smoking a cartridge per day on my e-cig to a cartridge ever 3-4 days. I haven't had nicotine in my system (meaning I haven't used my E-cig) in 2 weeks now and haven't had a single issue with it yet. I was getting to the point where I was literally forgetting that I had my ecig on me to use.

The only thing I don't like about them is people thinking it is ok to smoke these in restaurants and other public places.

I understand it's rude in some contexts so I wouldn't do it everywhere, like at a restaurant. Or it could be dangerous, like on an airplane, someone might think something's on fire and a panic could ensue. However, I do it at some smoke-free bars and no one has told me anything, although I have had a few people ask "is that an electronic cigarette?" and inquire about them.

It's still a cigarette and you are still smoking.

It's NOT a cigarette, and it is NOT smoking. People in the community don't call it electronic cigarettes and they don't like it to be called electronic cigarettes, because it's not anything like a cigarette.

They are marketed as e-cigs and there are lots of models that are made to look like a cigarette, but that's only because they are marketing to current smokers. Most people, once they get into vaping, call it a personal vaporizer or "PV" and buy models that don't look like cigarettes. Here's what mine looks like:

For one, no tobacco is used in them. Two, it's not smoke, it's vapor, which doesn't smell, doesn't cling to clothes, and doesn't damage the lungs.

What is being vaporized is a glycerin juice mixture that is flavored (standard flavors are things like cherry, peach, mint, sugar cookie, etc.). You can order the juices from many different vendors and with different nicotine levels (usually high, medium, low, and no nicotine).

I quit a year and a half ago using an electronic cigarette. I guess I'm a douche bag.

What we need is an e-bong. Together with appropriate cartridges.

I haven't started yet. But I plan to in the next few weeks. Looking into getting the b2 brand. But, they are coming out with an updated model on next Monday ( apr 16). So I'm waiting for that before I place my order.
