Saw this on another board but haven't seen it on here yet so I thought it would be interesting to here your take.
A poster from Georgia has a source inside Grayson and posted that if he were to commit today it would be LSU because he likes the idea of playing in a 4-3 more then 3-4. This is suppose to be straight out of RN's mouth but I can't confirm this and I dont know how reliable the Georgia source is but still makes for a good topic

I'm going to treat this as a guessing game
ETA:
Seriously, I would love him in Purple & Gold but I am not investing any time thinking he's going anywhere but Bama. This new defensive set preference sounds realistic but if he delays his announcement until an All Star game or later it will reek of Live announcement hype.
If he has said he prefers our defensive set and comes to LSU it will put a huge smile on my face. Our scheme truly is better for some players and 3-4 schemes are better for others.

Nkemdiche would committ to LSU today if Big Sam promised to let him hang out and give him Playstation lessons

Very good reason. sounds pretty smart to me.

well, with that being said, Bama isn't changing to a 4 3 any time soon, so.....if that's his only caveat, then we are good.
but too much can happen between now and february.

I'm not sure where he is going but playing DE in a 4-3 would net him the biggest payday in the NFL.
He is athletic enough to stay on the outside. Good luck wherever he chooses.

good kid, tremendous athlete. Doesn't matter where he goes he will potentially make $$$ in the NFL.

I saw the orginal quote the OP is referring to from the dawg fan on their board. I love the fact that RN is talking up LSU at his high school.
FYI, he just tweeted Geno Smith that he didn't know if he was going to A-Day.
Geno Smith?
@SmithGeno4: @electus_1 lol I feel yah You going to a- day this weekend?
Robert Nkemdiche
@electus_1: @SmithGeno4 shite idk are you
I've always felt that if he didn't go to A-Day, then our chances would be much greater if he holds to the May 18th announcement. The reason I feel that way is because he set that announcement date the same day he left the LSU campus and named us his #1.
I may have false hope, or I may not. I prefer to be hopeful though.

Its april, does it really matter what anyone is saying now. They could all change their minds by next february.
We have gotten 4 and 5 star busts before and then gotten 3 stars that went on to stellar careers at LSU.

It would make more sense for him to come to lsu than bama. All the bama DES do is plug the run. They never rack up any sacks. I hope he makes the right choice and leads us to another top ranked recruiting class.

RN update from AJC
Robert Nkemdiche: Clemson gains favor after teammate commits
Robert Nkemdiche: Clemson gains favor after teammate commits
quote:
One of Robert Nkemdiche’s teammates has committed to Clemson.
Will the nation’s No. 1 overall football prospect follow?
“I don’t know; I think that’s all up to Robert,” said Wayne Gallman, the running back from Grayson High School who committed to Clemson.
Nkemdiche, who is rumored to have Alabama and Ole Miss as his co-leaders, endorsed Gallman’s commitment to Clemson.
“It helps Clemson a lot with me,” Nkemdiche told the AJC on Wednesday night.
