I can only speak for my experiences growing up in the 3 southern coastal counties. That number is not close to correct in my demographic.
I bet the number of whites who wouldn't inter-racially marry is pretty damn high, but the number who would go as far to ban it is low as hell.
I can't speak for those areas of the state that are supposedly still in 1945.

I do a great deal of consulting work in Mississippi and wouldn't be surprised if I knew 400 Mississippi Republicans personally. There is no way I believe this poll is am accurate representation of Mississippi or Republicans.

But how did they identify them? Did they check the voting rolls and call people who voted in the GOP primary?
And even then, that doesn't make them actual Republicans. All voters in Mississippi are registered independents and can vote in either primary. The D primaries were meaningless because Ogump is the incumbent, and the House and Senate primaries are meaningless because nobody is drawing serious opposition. So even if you don't think of yourself as a Republican, you still might vote in the GOP primary.
