He could well become the best us center mid ever....frick nepotism, this kid can play

That debate went on way too long. I stop by bigsoccer's forums like once every couple of months and was amazed that the nepotism stuff was still running all the way through Bob getting canned.
I mean it was maybe a bit odd that Mike was seemingly never off the field while Bob was coach, but its beyond clear that he's earned his place. And its been that way for a while.

It was weird when he got called in in '06, but not that weird
It's obvious that he works his arse off. I'm sure that he bothered the shite out of Bob until he called a favor in to Bruce

Bradley is playing extremely well at Chievo. Really the backbone of their squad. Some of it is finally being a given a chance against top level competition. However, his positional awareness/reading of the game is just on a different level after a short time under Di Carlo as was in evidence of how well did against the likes of Pirlo, Marchisio, De Rossi etc in the recent friendly.
I believe he signed a 2 year deal with Chievo and his play has been solid enough that Chievo may need to cash in this summer if he doesn't sign an extension. I'd love to see him go to bigger Serie A club but after Aston Villa it may be better for him to re-up an extra year if he doesn't find the right fit.

The Aston Villa situation was more of a combination of Bradley being a hothead, and Gerard Houllier being a lousy manager. He could be a decent squad player for a Roma or Napoli level Serie A club. I think he'd be another benchwarmer for the elite Milan clubs, and Juventus. Although I'd love for him to get tutelage from a legend like Pirlo, if he went to Juventus.

According to BigSoccer, eye-ties have been singing his praises for a while
He is very much a coaches son, and there was a great video of him in the Spain friendly last year that highlighted that, but copyright infringement removed it from youtube

Houllier wasn't interested in doing anything but playing a geriatric Pires
I'm sure that Bradley had no problem telling him that

Thanks for the info. I don't follow them and was really certain what the issue was there.

I agree however it's tough to think of where he'd fit best.
I would love to have Bradley come to Roma but don't think it's in his best interest. Roma under Enrique is running an extremely similar system to Barca and has a ton of players in the 3 man midfield rotation: De Rossi, Gago, Pjanic, two of the more hyped Italian class of 92' players in Viviani and Pisciatella plus Marquinho, Simplicio, Greco and Perrotta as squad depth. My worry is that he simply wouldn't play that much unless Gago is injured.
Of other top teams Napoli may offer him more time as they really need depth and, god forbid, Lazio where he'd actually probably fit in well style wise.
Tutelage from Pirlo would be fantastic but I see Juve spending more this summer and beefing up for CL so I'd be worried about how much time he'd get there too.
