Gregg Williams was too busy listing which opposing player injuries to target than instilling proper football fundamentals. Hope they ban his arse for life. Not only is he a scumbag human being but no one should have to suffer through his shitty defenses ever again.

anybody got that link to the scott shanle "high light" reel that some guy on SR made?
TIA
TIA

This video should be used in evidence AGAINST the bounty system. No sane person would believe this defense ever hit anyone hard enough to hurt them.
ETA: The 7:20 mark...........yeah. Won't miss Porter too much.
ETAA: The next two plays involve him as well. Nice.

This video hits it spot on. Exactly why the Saints didn't win the Super Bowl, piss arse tackling and can't do shite defensively, but you should have added the playoff games. Cause as much crap as I hear about that 49ers game,if we had their defense, we could have beat them.
From the comments, what a beautiful mind.

If we had their defense, we would never lose a game. Unfortunately, doesn't work that way.

I just watched it.
He was never the best tackler, but he was something else last year. The occasional interception ain't worth it.

and yet people attacked me all last year for my strong opinion of Gregg Williams. So glad he is gone. Dude had one great season and it was all down hill after that

Stopped watching at :10 to go puke

Looking back, I kept standing up for that defense because towards the end of the year, they were not giving up as many points. The yardage was still piling up but I chose to ignore that. Looking forward to this year, I just wanna see a more fundamentally sound defense. The rule changes are slanted to the offensive players these days but one constant remains. If you are able to get pressure on the QB, good things will happen. Also, make sure you collect the turnover when the opportunity presents itself. The dropped interceptions and not recovering fumbles has to stop.

The LB speed from the past couple of years to this upcoming year is going to be astonishingly different. I hope the coverage can can better too.

Looks like he calculated yards from scrimmage each time, even if the missed tackle occurred 20 yards upfield.
Also he counted players out of position or simply getting beat as a missed tackle. There was one on a slant where the wr was a good yard or two ahead of the db and the db dove and barely scraped the back of the wr jersey. I wouldn't call that a missed tackle. Just got beat

I think you are splitting hairs over semantics. The video should have just been called "Shitty Defense".
But the name of the the video is "yards after missed/poor tackling". Taking the wrong angle or being out of position to defend the slant is an integral part of poor tackling and big gains.
To be fair, saying the defenders "just got beat" may be a more accurate description of this shitty & "leaky" defense. Not having LB's alert enough or fast enough or tough enough to even be involved in the play that forces a DB to make a desperate tackle attempt is part of a shitty defense. CB's who are piss poor in run support or are out of position or are under-sized or over-matched makes up part of a shitty defense. Having DE's & DT's that can't shed a single blocker in order to disrupt plays that easily accumulated 688 yards helped rank this shitty defense 24th overall in yards allowed.
One thing this video makes clear: these were the worst Bounty-enforcers in the History of Bounties.

That guy needs to find something to do with his life, because he has way too much time on his hands.

He did take the time to compile a Shanle highlight video.

Good video. Me and my family watched it, I think the whole room looked like this:

Other teams have missed tackles too ya know. I'm actually kinda surprised at 600. I figured it would be higher especially when we miss a tackle and the WR runs another 50 yards.

I made it 20 seconds and threw up, 30 seconds and i was going blind by anger, 42 seconds i just turned the fricking thing off. Did anyone make it the whole 10 mins. I am seething right now. frick. Spags doesnt have to do much for me to like the guy. Just teach our team some fundamentals and call a somewhat intelligent defense.

I started to lose control of my bowels around the one minute mark.

I kind of watched it with this sense of smugness, knowing I had been right about GW this whole time.
I consider it validation for
