I think you are taking our satisfaction with our purchase as "bragging."

I'm not saying it's a bad thing, just every kayak thread I see, the first 4 or 5 responses is "TEAM ASCEND FOR LIFE"

my next yak will be a diablo but right now I cant justify spending 1600

if you're looking for a nice rigged out SOT, you do NOT need to spend 1600.. frankly spending 1600 on a kayak is just fricking retarded unless you really really want mirage drive

I decided to go with the Wilderness Systems Tarpon 120.

excellent choice, the tarpon is always the first one I recommend to someone

A good sea kayak will cost you at least $1,500. A SOT fishing kayak, you would be silly to pay that much.

I think we talked about this before. my buddy has it and I didnt like it. I think I would rather stick a trolling motor on there. Im thinking about doing this anyway. I forget what kind of hobie he has but its not the pro angler. he paid around 1800-2000.

what kind of yak do you fish out of?

I'd love one of those or a KC. But I'd buy a go-devil instead if I could afford either of them
