It's brutal. Dwight just had no idea what to say when they hit him with the info.

Earlier in the clip, Stan was talking about people who BS and deny rumors. The Nets and Clippers were on his wishlist. Is he looking forward to playing under VDN or Avery or is he expecting new coaches when he gets there?

He better be on the Wizards payroll as soon as he resigns or gets let go.

And, it was even more awkward when DH interrupted Stan's interview. I think he just assumed Stan would say not comment and just answer questions about the game and he was trying to BS the media after Stand just said he wasn't comfortable trying to BS people.

Stan isn't going anywhere at the moment. They aren't going to make any moves until the end of the season. DH is making it hard to stay in Orlando long term though. If things don't get squared away quickly, DH will have to be traded this summer.

Otis has to be done at year's end. I like Stan, but he may end up getting canned as well. I suppose it might be worth it to can Stan if it means DH signs his extension, but it would cause me to lose a little respect for DH and ownership. Stan isn't this team's problem.

I agree with all of that.

I wonder how Stan's relationship is with the rest of the team. He has really grown on me and I don't know who the Magic could hire that would be better. I hope we keep Stan, fire Otis, and trade Dwight if this is how it's going to be. Knicks tonight, playoffs in May, interesting offseason in June. Maybe Dwight will create a super team with some super friends in London this summer.....

I've heard the other players (at least some) don't really like him either. He's just not a player's coach, and never has been.

I'm not sure what happens with him. It's not ideal to change coaches with the playoffs close, but those comments make it tough for the Magic to keep him too. And honestly, I think he came clean just to force their hands. His "I'm not worried about being fired. They can fire me right now. I'll go home and find something to do" (paraphrased) was pretty telling in my opinion. I think he's just tired of it and part of him wants to be out of that situation.

Also, to whoever asked about Nets, Clips. The Clippers are going to fire VDN after the season. SVG won't need to be an assistant coach anywhere. If he wants the HC job at those teams, he'll get it.

That video was awkward.

It seemed clear that Dwight and VG aren't on the same page. shite, it kinda mde me wonder if Dwight saw VG over there being interviewed and was like "Hey, Jameer, watch this...Imma go over there and wreck that shite with awkwardness." Then he goes over there, and is like "Hey, Jameer...*headnod and grin."

Who does Orlando think they are that they can just fire a pretty successful coach and have the pick of the litter for future coaches..... Nobody like Jackson,Brown, etc is going to Orlando...

Not going to happen....

If DH signs a new contract and Otis Smith gets fired, they will be able to get just about anybody that LA and Miami don't want that isn't already entrenched at a good job.
