We had the biggest guy on the field. A 6-7, 280 pound pitcher named Murphy. He was the only guy who actually brought a bat out as a weapon. I said "John, put the friggin' bat down."
I was a relief pitcher for CC. I picked out a guy from UNO who was my size and grabbed him by the shirt. He grabbed me by my shirt. I said "Let's sit this one out till it's over."
Him: "Good idea."

The Denham Springs vs. Walker baseball fight a few years ago was way worse than that.

I don't see this as an end to society at all, at least they are out doing something, and then caring enough about something to fight for it. Not that they should of but I mean, they are 14-15 yrs old
