Spankem never heard the term lake runner anywhere but nola and north shore....most notably on south shore near chef



Boats. He is bummed....had a lot of fishing trips lined up next week too......

I've never been able to catch more than two in a trip. They are a blast to catch, and BIG.

I am catching them as I type this. Got about fifty or so. I just call them bream though.

I find chinks yield better than bream. Usually bigger and they are definitely wider across tge back.

Easily. Where I'm going today has giant mutants. If i catch, I'll post pics. Biggest chinqs I've ever seen.

They don't have em in lake verret anymore like they used to.

Post pics fa sho. Haven't seen a box full of those delicious things in a long time.

False River used to have one hell of a run. Have not heard a peep about it in over 10 years.

caught 54 in verret on Saturday....54 total fish, there were a good bit of chinquapin in there....Cats, brim, pin and 3 goo (yes, threw goo back)

We were a little south of Verret Friday and didn't catch a single one.... All were bluegill, sunfish, and a couple goggle eye
